The walks on the Kakadu, Nitmiluk and Litchfield walking tour are not particularly difficult, it can just get really hot and exposed in the middle of the day and afternoon. A 12km hike in Kakadu feels very different to a 12km walk on a coastal track.
Most of the walks are also quite rocky underfoot but the itinerary is built in way so we can take our time and don’t have to rush. Quite a few of the walks include an opportunity to swim in a beautiful water hole.
On the longer and more strenuous walks include an option to shorten the walk and you may choose how far you would like to go.
The more training on rocky and uneven surfaces you do the more fun the tour will be.
