The team at Inspiration Outdoors would like to take this chance to say good-bye to Mike – a guide with us for many years and well-loved by many guests.
After seven amazing and rewarding years with Inspiration Outdoors, Mike has taken on a new and exciting challenge at Cape Le Grand National Park.
Mike Harris wrote this message for all our guests.
“I love spending my time outdoors on trails and hikes. Being an Inspiration Outdoors guide allowed me to be in my favourite environment and meet amazing people.”
He says the skills and experience he gained while guiding in nature motivated and helped him secure the position. He found his time at Inspiration Outdoors rewarding both in job satisfaction and working with a wonderful team and company. Mike says a massive thank-you to Simon and Emily for giving him a go all those years ago, as well as all the amazing guests he’s met along the way.
His only regret is that he has not completed all the walks Inspiration Outdoors has to offer. The Flinders Ranges, Kangaroo Island, Victorian High Country and the latest Grampians Peak Trail are some tours that are on the top of his list to explore.
It’s not a goodbye, but more of a see you later, so don’t forget to say Hi Mike on your next South Coast tour! Keep an eye out for him or the resident pirate Black Jack Anderson in a Ranger uniform.
If you’d like to know more about the amazing region where Mike will keep his post, read our blog post – Everything you need to know about walking the Cape to Cape track. The Inspiration Outdoors tour of this region takes seven wonderful days and visits some of Western Australia’s most astounding scenic treasures. Check out the Cape Le Grand tour here.
South Australia’s outbacks seem to come from another planet. It holds one of the greatest mountain range regions and one of Australia’s newest and best hiking trails ALL-IN-ONE-STATE. You’ll see adorable Australian animals everywhere you go. Do you need any further convincing to visit South Australia?!
Come join us in true Inspiration Outdoors fashion on one or both of two walking tours that capture the amazing unique landscape of South Australia.
